Vinay, is a small-time erotic writer who wants to make it big. And, Mrs. Ghosh promised him the same, on one condition, that Vinay would tell her an erotic story every day. As days pass, Mrs. Ghosh becomes fascinated by Vinay's stories and slowly begins to weave a web of her own imagination.

Each day, Vinay would have to weave a tale, a story laced with eroticism, for Mrs. Ghosh's ears alone. As days turned into weeks, Vinay poured his creativity into these daily narratives, hoping to impress his patron and mentor. But Mrs. Ghosh's interest extended far beyond mere critique. With each story, she seemed to become more engrossed, her fascination not just with the content but with the storyteller himself. This unexpected turn of events sparked something within her. The vivid imagery and emotions Vinay conjured began to stir her own imagination. Subconsciously, she started to craft her own narrative, a captivating web spun from the threads of Vinay's stories and her own desires. What began as a transactional arrangement was slowly morphing into something far more complex, a curious entanglement fueled by words and unspoken yearning.

Launched in 2018, the app offers short-format web series and movies catering to a specific audience. While it has garnered a loyal subscriber base, particularly in tier-2 and tier-3 cities, Ullu has also faced criticism and regulatory scrutiny.

Ullu's success can be attributed to several factors. Firstly, it offers affordable subscription plans compared to mainstream OTT platforms. Secondly, its content caters to an underserved niche in the Indian market, where mainstream options shy away from bolder themes. The short format (often episodic series) makes it easily digestible for viewers on the go.

The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has flagged the app for allegedly featuring sexually suggestive content involving minors and a lack of robust age verification measures. This has led to calls for stricter regulations on OTT platforms. Additionally, some critics argue that Ullu's content exploits sexuality and lacks artistic merit.
